Wands are magical stick-like objects that nearly everyone in Fairy Tale Land possesses. They are utilized to use magic (the kind of magic appears to vary depending on the wand’s owner). The tops of the wands of Regal Academy students (and other minors) are covered with, for lack of a better term, “shells” that must be opened before casting spells. It is currently unknown as to why these shells are only on minors’ wands.
