Von Frogg is one of the antagonists of his debut episode, The Frog Villain. By frog standards, he is quite attractive.

In The Frog Villain, Von Frogg is the leader of the delegation from Frog Academy that visits Regal Academy. When he is introduced, he tells LeFrog that his granddaughter, Joy (who Esquire had just offered a bouquet of flowers to), is beautiful. Joy develops a crush on him immediately. LeFrog takes the his students and the delegation outside, and demonstrates the abilities of the LeFrog family’s magic family item, the Frog Ball. After seeing it in action, he immed wants it for himself.
LeFrog announces that Frog Academy and Regal Academy will be competing to see which school is the best. The first trial is Bug Eating, which Joy wins after devouring an entire table of food. Von Frogg dances for a bit before complimenting her bug-eating prowess. They continue through several other competitions such as swordfighting and potion brewing, which Joy does well in. After the potion brewing contest, Von Frogg is approached by Kira, Vicky, and Cyrus Broomstick, who offer to help him steal the Frog Ball. He agrees.
