Plot
At Rose Cinderella’s house, her alarm clock goes off, but Rose doesn’t get up. Her pet mouse, Gigi, carries the alarm clock closer to her, but she elbows Gigi back onto the nightstand, before slamming her hand all around him to shut off the alarm. Gigi blows a horn in her ear, but she doesn’t get up. Gigi finds a mirror, and reflects sunlight in Rose’s eyes. She finally wakes up, and inquires what time it is. She sees that they’re late, and shoves Gigi and the mirror in her backpack before scrambling to get ready for school.
She rushes to school, and tells Gigi that she’s never been this late before. In the auditorium, Cinderella bounces that two new (previously homeschooled) students will be joining them. Travis says that he thinks that they’ll be super awkward. The first of the two new students, Ambrosia, walks to Cinderella’s side. Every boy (including Hawk, Mirror Hawk, and Travis) is taken by her stunning beauty. Astoria remarks, “Boys.” Then, Cinderella introduces Ambrosia’s twin brother, Adonis. His beauty makes all of the girls fall for him, including Astoria. Shawn Beast sees this, and remarks, “Girls.”
Rose runs into the auditorium, and is confused by the awed looks on the faces of her peers. She turns around, sees Adonis, and comes to the conclusion that they were all cursed. She accuses Adonis of melting her friends’ brains, and he frowns. Cinderella tells Rose to stop. Cinderella explains that Ambrosia and Adonis are just incredibly beautiful, as they are the grandchildren of Sleeping Beauty. Rose is excited, and remarks that Sleeping Beauty is the best fairytale ever. The PomPoms tackle the twins, knocking them over, much to Cinderella’s dismay. Rose sits down, and tells Hawk that Ambrosia is quite lovely (in a questioning tone, without using Ambrosia’s name). Hawk panics, not wanting to make Rose jealous, and asks if she’s referring to Cinderella. Mirror Hawk ignorantly clarifies that Rose is talking about Ambrosia, as she’s the most gorgeous girl he’s ever seen. Hawk tucks his mirror away before Mirror Hawk can say anything else. Cinderella instructs Rose’s team to escort the Beauty twins through a whole day of class. Rose gets up, hugs Ambrosia, and tells her that she’ll love Regal Academy. Ambrosia shifts her attention to Hawk, and winks at him, smiling.
In Dragon Riding Class, Rose shows Adonis and Ambrosia her team’s mission dragons. Ambrosia is surprised to see that they have dragons, and explains that homeschooled kids don’t get them. Rose offers to give them an aerial tour of Regal Academy, and Ambrosia smiles at her twin brother. Ambrosia rides with Rose in her dragon, and Adonis rides with Joy. Ambrosia says that she’s having a lot of fun, and comments that Rose must fly with her boyfriend all of the time. Rose tells Ambrosia that she doesn’t have one, and Ambrosia asks if Hawk isn’t her boyfriend. Rose tells her that she and Hawk are really close friends, and Ambrosia smiles. Rose takes Adonis and Ambrosia to the cafeteria. Ambrosia asks where they can sit, and a girl pushes her two friends out of their seats to make room for them. Rose’s team, Ambrosia, and Adonis walk away slowly, and the pets over them. Rose introduces Ambrosia to her PomPoms, and Ambrosia is amazed.
Mirror Hawk hijacks Adonis’s mirror. Mirror Hawk tells Adonis if he ever wants to see his reflection again, he has to let Mirror Hawk speak to Ambrosia. Adonis hurriedly hands his mirror to his sister, and Mirror Hawk says, “Hello beautiful.” Ambrosia turns to face the actual Hawk and says hello back. Cinderella finds them, and informs them that it’s time for dance class. In dance class, Gerald nervously asks Ambrosia, but Finn outright grabs her and sins her around. Her legs hit the students nearby, and she, Finn, and the wounded students collapse. Gerald helps her up. Ambrosia looks over to Hawk, and sees Rose making a move on him. The two begin to dance together, but Ambrosia butts in and takes Hawk away to dance. Rose dances with Gerald instead, but soon throws him away (causing him to bowl into a line of students, knocking them all over) when she sees Hawk and Ambrosia again. Hawk tells Ambrosia that it was nice meeting her (intending to leave), but she announces to the class that her grandmother and Cinderella have agreed to have a party at their castle immediately. Vicky, Kira, and Cyrus go into the courtyard and contact the Snow Queen. They tell her about the party, and she hurriedly gets up to go do something.
At Sleeping Beauty’s castle, the guests have been standing around for hours. Rose and her friends come into the room holding trays full of snacks, and Rose says that they’re ready to run the party. A guard then announces the presence of Ambrosia, Adonis, and Sleeping Beauty (all three of which are wearing pajamas). Rose and Joy ask why they’re wearing pajamas, and Sleeping Beauty explains that all of their parties are sleepovers.
Suddenly, the Evil Fairy flies in, and uses Sleep Magic to make Finn fall asleep. The students prepare to fight, but Sleeping Beauty explains that she invited her. Travis asks why, and Sleeping Beauty explains that since the Evil Fairy cursed her to sleep because of the fact that she alone wasn’t invited, Sleeping Beauty has invited her to everything to protect her grandchildren. She has become almost part of the family (sadly). The Evil Fairy initiates a treasure hunt, and teleports away to hide it. Vicky, Cyrus, and Kira leave. Cyrus asks why villains don’t have evil sleepovers, and Vicky says that they do, he just isn’t invited.
Outside of the castle, the Evil Fairy meets the Snow Queen. She uses Sleep Magic to put mattresses in all of the windows and doors, trapping everyone inside. The students hear loud crashes and thuds, and Ambrosia says that she’s never heard them before. Travis suggests that it could be a wereslug, and Joy licks her lips at the mention of slugs. They run down the hall, and see that the doorway has been blocked with a mattress. Ambrosia begins to explain that it must be the work of the Evil Fairy, but is cut off by the sudden appearance of Vicky, Kira, and Cyrus (though they’re too fast for anyone to realize who they are). The wicked trio use sleeping potions on Ambrosia, Adonis, and Joy. Vicky, Kira, and Cyrus round a corner and stop to catch their breath. Cyrus says that they must have been freaked out by his wereslug noises, and Kira asks what’s so scary about wereslugs. The Evil Fairy appears, and says that they’re terrible kissers. Kira makes a face, and the Evil Fairy instructs them to split up and make all of the guests fall asleep.
Rose, Hawk, LingLing, Travis, and Astoria bring Joy, Ambrosia, and Adonis into the bedroom. Astoria says that they have to find Sleeping Beauty, so she can undo the Sleep Magic with her family’s magic. Rose suggests that they split up into teams to watch their sleeping comrades and find Sleeping Beauty. Alicia, Shawn, and the boy who is either Brad or Chad Charming are chased through a hallway by the Evil Fairy. She casts a spell on them. Rose and Hawk find Pinocchia and Odette collapsed together in the middle of a hallway. They bring the two girls to the bedroom and put them on sleeping bags. LingLing and Travis also put Alicia on a sleeping bag. Rose find Violet and Gerald in the same condition.
LingLing and Travis come across a sleeping Finn, but Cyrus jumps out at them and attempts to splash them with the sleeping potion. Travis is hit, but LingLing dodges it. Cyrus realizes that he’s out of the potion, and runs away. Rose and Hawk carry Violet and Gerald inside the bedroom, and hear LingLing’s grunts of effort. She manages to pull Travis and Finn into the bedroom and put them on sleeping bags. Rose and Hawk find Sleeping Beauty and her wolf guard, but they are suddenly hit with a sleeping spell. Rose panics, and the Evil Fairy flies up to curse her and Hawk. Hawk summons his Mirror Shield, and blocks her spells. Rose summons her glass slippers and runs off to put Sleeping Beauty on a sleeping bag. The Evil Fairy enters the bedroom, and Astoria uses Tower Magic to create vines that try to grab the Evil Fairy. LingLing blasts the Evil Fairy with a gust of wind (via Fan Magic), and Rose grabs the Evil Fairy’s wand. Hawk uses Snow Magic to freeze her in a block of ice, and the mattresses disappears.
The Snow Queen comes to the window. Astoria tells Hawk and Rose to find a way to wake everyone up while she and LingLing fight the Snow Queen. Hawk asks why they’re going to fight the Snow Queen instead of him and Rose. Astoria asks if he’s serious, and summons her Fire Bangles. She and LingLing summon their armor and their dragons, and take flight. LingLing summons her Moon Bow, and shoots it at the Snow Queen. She misses, and her dragon fires a blast of ice at them. Astoria stops it. The Snow Queen is annoyed for see Astoria again, but before she can attack again, a barrage of Moon Bow arrows falls from the sky. She destroys them all, which frightens LingLing. LingLing fires another arrow, but the Snow Queen dodges it again, flying closer.
Meanwhile, in the castle, Hawk asks how they can wake them up. Rose suggests that they kiss them like the prince did in their fairytale, and shakes Adonis before kissing him on the cheek. He falls back down, and rolls over. Rose realizes that it has to be true love’s kiss, and she doesn’t love Adonis. Hawk barely masks his satisfaction. Rose suggests that Hawk kiss Ambrosia. He does so, but nothing happens.
Confused, Rose asks why Hawk’s kiss didn’t work, as he’s Ambrosia’s true love. He explains that he doesn’t love her, and she realizes that it’s Mirror Hawk who loves Ambrosia. Hawk puts his mirror to Ambrosia’s face, and Mirror Hawk kisses her. Ambrosia awakens, and Rose pokes Mirror Hawk to get him out of the way. Rose states that Adonis’s true love is himself, and he kisses his reflection. The two wake up, and upon Rose’s request, they use True Loves Magic to wake everybody else up. Sleeping Beauty says that she’s not inviting the Evil Fairy to anything every again.
Astoria and LingLing are having trouble fighting the Snow Queen, and Travis appears, wearing the Beast Mask. He summons a storm, and the Snow Queen flees. Back at the sleepover, the students have switched into their formal wear. Ambrosia apologizes to Rose for hitting on Hawk, as she thought the two were only friends. Rose denies being more than friends with Hawk, and Ambrosia states that she and Rose are friends now (though she is still a little jealous of Rose). Ambrosia walks away, and Hawk asks Rose what is jealous of. Rose lies that it’s her incredible reign. Hawk asks why Rose’s face is red, and she claims to have eaten an entire bag of chili peppers, leaving him more confused. Sleeping Beauty gives Rose a sweet sleep teddy bear for her fairy tale collection.
