Prince Hedge is a prince who was transformed into a hedgehog by Tatauniya within the last 100 years or so.

Hedge was transformed into a hedgehog by Tatauniya, and his noteworthy spiked green hair was turned into green quills.
In Into the Enchanted Forest, his picture is put up on Sheriff Red Riding Hood’s wall. It is explained that he (as well as many other young royals) disappeared in the Enchanted Forest. Rose finds him and recognizes him, and takes him with her to join her friends. When Rose sees that living trees are attacking her friends, she runs at the one restraining Hawk to deliver a blow. However, he stops her and helps her realize that the living trees are also cursed princes and princesses like him.
