Melvin is the grandson of Merlin and the older brother of Merleena.
He befriends Sandra, granddaughter of the Evil Queen.

In The Shapeshifting Witch, Melvin carries a box full of potion supplies into Merlin Academy with his little sister, Merleena. The two argue about who’s fault it is that they‘re late to teach their grandfather’s class at Regal Academy.
