Earth is a round planet. Two thirds of it are covered in ocean. It is a diverse world filled with many cultures and countries. Humans are the dominant and only sentient race on the planet.
Earth lacks magic and most people believe that magic and magical creatures are just stories. While they don't belive in them, the fairy tales are famous and have been told by the people of Earth for centuries.
Earth is connected to Fairy Tale Land by a magic portal. Fairy tale characters are allowed to use the portal and some even move to Earth. They can return by using magic keys. Not all creatures are given a choice. The worst fairy tale villains are stripped of their powers and banished to Earth. The portal is also closed to them, preventing them from returning.
