Christmas in the Fairy Tale Land is the twenty-second episode of the second season of Regal Academy.
Synopsis
It is Christmas time, and Rose is excited to find out that Santa Claus really exists.[1]
Plot
The episode starts off with Rose going to Potions Class, where she gives Christmas presents to her classmates, and consequently, ruins their assignments because she is too overzealous.
Afterwards, Rose learns that the inhabitants of Fairy Tale Land do not celebrate Christmas. They know what Christmas is, but they are apathetic to the holiday in general. Astoria claims that it is just "like any other day." She tells Rose to "look what passes for a normal day."
In Joy's case, it is because her parents are busy. And in Ling Ling's case, it is because Christmas does not suit a family of warriors.
Afterwards, Hawk reveals that Santa is real in Fairy Tale Land, so he takes Rose and their team to see him. Vicky's team, having overheard this, alert the Snow Queen to intercept them.
When Rose meets Santa, the Snow Queen strikes and steals his magic candy cane from him. Without the cane, Santa cannot make Christmas. But Rose and her team are there to help. Joy gets her frog friends to make flower necklaces, Astoria wraps gifts, Hawk makes apple pies, Ling Ling makes origami, and Travis makes toys.
Back at her castle, the Snow Queen discovers that the magic candy cane does not work. Afterwards, she returns to Santa's home and freezes the protagonists. However, the Pom Poms save them by swarming her. In addition, the parents from "Parents' Day" come to the rescue. This also includes Joy's parents and Ling Ling's grandmother. All of them are present because they were invited.
The Pom Poms and parents repel the Snow Queen and unfreezes the protagonists.
Upon returning to Regal Academy, Granny Cinderella declares that they saved Christmas. Not only is Christmas saved, but Christmas has been revived in Fairy Tale Land. As a gift to Rose, Santa gives her a letter that her grandmother wrote to her. Afterwards, the characters sing a song for the remainder of the episode.
