I think there is a possibility that we get Regal Academy season 3 because Rainbow spA or the producer didn't make any official statement regarding its discontinuation or cancellation. If a company cancels a show, it is common for them to issue an official statement to the public. The statement usually includes the reason for the cancellation, the date and time of the cancellation, and any other relevant information. I think it just went on a really long hiatus because even Winx club once went on a 4-year hiatus before returning (researched it through a website). Though it's been 5 years to Regal Academy already, I still think it will be coming back.

@Localcheshire , I didn’t know that about Winx Club, so that’s cool. And yeah, that’s exactly why I think season 3 is in limbo.

But it also seems Rainbow is more invested in 44 Cats, which is literally the only show that their youtube channel is advertising. Still, your optimism is nice
